Health Dangers to Working Too Hard: Cinergy Health

If you work particularly long hours – the bad news is that you are increasing your risk of dying from heart disease.  The good news?  It’s possible that exercise can actually help you to eliminate that risk.

A new study, led by Andreas Holtermann and published in Heart magazine, shows that people who worked more than 45 hours a week had twice as much the risk of cardiovascular death than did those who worked normal hours or less than 40 hours a week.  For those who were in good shape and who worked out regularly, the long hours did not increase their risk levels.
